Sigma CapSeal

Sigma Jet: Our Fastest 100 FPM Induction Cap Sealer

A 100 feet-per-minute automatic inline sealer manufactured for high-volume production lines. Waterless, air-cooled, and ready to run out of the box.

The Sigma Jet tops the range for output: 20 to 100 mm caps, a waterless air-cooled coil, fully assembled on delivery. Sigma CapSeal manufactured India’s first indigenous induction sealer in 1989 and the Jet won the Best Pac Machine Award in 2015.

Self-Standing Design

The Flagship Sealer for High-Speed Lines

The Sigma Jet sits at the top of the Sigma range. It runs at 100 feet per minute, the fastest we manufacture, and it ships fully assembled so it fits most lines without modification. The frame is self-standing and the machine is with castor wheels.

Recipes sit behind a password, rejects are counted automatically, and every run logs to a basic audit trail. If your line needs full FDA 21 CFR Part 11 records and electronic signatures on top of that, pair it with the CFR compliance package.

How the Sigma Jet Works

An induction sealer bonds a foil liner to the container mouth via an electromagnetic field. The Sigma Jet does that at up to 100 feet per minute, so you get the desired output.

1

Feed and Convey

Containers move down the line already capped, passing under the sealing head at up to 100 feet per minute. It is a fully automated system.

2

Induction Seal

The coil generates an electromagnetic field to the foil liner as each bottle passes under it. The sealing head delivers a full wax melt, so you get hermetically sealed bottles.

3

Inspect and Reject

Any missed seal is detected and rejected, and shown on the touchscreen.

4

Recipe Management

Customer can store recipe of the production.

Key Features and Engineering Advantages

What you get on Sigma CapSeal’s fastest sealing equipment.

100 FPM, Top of the Range

Nothing else in the Sigma lineup runs faster. It’s sized for lines that don’t stop, shift after shift.

Bottle Jamming Detectors

Detect backup of bottles at in-feed and out-feed, so a pile-up stops the line instead of running through the sealing head.

Bottle Counter

One universal head seals the full range with no head swaps. It standardizes sealing across many SKUs.

Batch Processor

You can specify how many bottles you would like to seal in the batch.

No Foil Detector

Detects the presence or absence of an induction foil liner/wad in the cap/bottle.

No Cap Detector

Detects the absence of a cap automatically.

Waterless and Air-Cooled

Detects the absence of a cap automatically.

Cap and Container Compatibility

We can provide a sealing head as per your diameter design. The universal design covers 20 to 120 mm without a coil swap between SKUs.

Which Sigma Model Fits Your Line?

Pick by line speed, and add the CFR package if your line is FDA-regulated. The Jet is the answer when you want the highest output Sigma CapSeal manufactures.

Sigma Flex

Manual, 4 to 8 bottles per minute

Lab, batch and startup work

Sigma Pro

Semi-automatic, 10 to 15 bottles per minute

Small batch production / lab production

Sigma Eco

Automatic inline, 20 bottles/min (25 ft/min)

Low production line (20 to 120 mm cap size)

Sigma I Neo

Low to mid output (cap size: 20 to 120 mm)

Low production line (20 to 120 mm cap size)

Sigma II Neo

Automatic inline, 55 ft/min

Mid to high volume (120 bottles/min)

Sigma II Neo Touch

Automatic inline, 55 feet per minute

Mid to high volume (touch panel with user and password, recipe management up to 5 recipes)

Sigma III Touch

Automatic inline, 80 feet per minute

High-volume GMP compliance

Sigma Jet

Automatic inline, 100 feet per minute

Maximum output (220+ bottles/min) with additional features; machine can be interlocked with existing conveyor

Automatic inline, 100 feet per minute

Maximum output (220+ bottles/min) plus full 21 CFR Part 11 compliance

Sigma Jet and Sigma Jet + CFR run on the same 100 FPM platform. The CFR variant adds electronic records, electronic signatures and a full audit trail for FDA-regulated lines.

Output and Cost of Ownership

Speed to Output

100 feet per minute is the conveyor speed, not the container count. Give us your bottle & cap diameter and we will give you a number.

Fewer Rejects

Fewer Rejects, Lower Waste

On-board inspection detects a missed seal before it enters the induction sealing equipment, which brings the cost per sealed bottle down.

No Chiller

Lower Running Cost

The 100% air-cooled coil needs no water. One less system to plumb, power and maintain.

Inspection, Rejection and Recipe Management

The touch screen watches the seal, drops the failures, and keeps a basic log of what happened.

What You Get Standard

Password-protected recipes, reject counts, and basic operating logs, straight from the machine. No manual tracking of settings between shifts.

Frequently Asked Questions: Sigma Jet

What packaging engineers and procurement teams ask before they buy.

The standard Sigma Jet ships with password-protected recipe management and a basic audit trail. For full USFDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, including electronic records, electronic signatures and a complete audit trail, choose Sigma Jet + CFR.

It’s a conveyor speed, not a container count. The actual number depends on your bottle spacing and cap diameter. Give us your bottle & cap diameter and we will give you a number.

100% air-cooled. There is no water circulation required, which is one less thing that can take the line down.

The Sigma III Touch is single phase while the Sigma Jet is three phased. The III Touch runs at 80 feet per minute. The Jet runs at 100 and tops the range for output.

Yes. The Jet operates on 415 ± 10% V AC, three phase, 50/60 Hz, so plan a three-phase supply at the install point. See Power and Installation.

Talk to our applications team about your specific unit. Ask us whether your line is best served by ordering CFR-ready from the start or reviewing an upgrade path.
